concert band Duration: 3.5' Grade 4 Katherine Bergman Music © 2025 Catalyst was commissioned to celebrate the opening of the Marion High School Performing Arts Center, bringing out the energy and excitement of arriving in a new space, and recognizing that it is the beginning of something even greater. A catalyst, an accelerant, that expands the possibilities for the students on stage. Each new entrance sparks another somewhere else in the ensemble, creating a sense of movement and evolution that reflects the learning and growth that will unfold within the walls of the new space for years to come.
