Coming Home
concert band Duration: 6' Grade 4 Katherine Bergman Music © 2024 Coming Home is composed for the Cedar Falls High School Wind Symphony in dedication of the school’s brand new high school building. Cedar Falls High School is my alma mater, and I was proud to play saxophone in the Wind Symphony during my time there. In composing a piece for the ensemble I used to be a part of, I wanted to capture both the nostalgia of returning home, and the excitement of building and arriving at a new home. Both instances are brimming with anticipation and joy along the journey home.
