string orchestra Duration: 4' Grade 4 Katherine Bergman Music © 2022 In the spring of 2020 and throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we all lost something. Whether it be lost time with friends, loss of physical closeness, canceled events, unemployment, mental instability, lost sense of taste or smell, or worst of all, the loss of life or a loved one. This piece captures the sense of grief and disruption felt during that time, highlighting the emotions felt when—just as we thought things were turning a corner—new frustrations always seem to suddenly appear.
