tuba-euphonium ensemble (EETT), grade 4 Commissioned by Steven Darling Duration: 6' Katherine Bergman Music © 2020 Upsurge takes inspiration from the experience of visiting Cave Point County Park in Door County, Wisconsin. Cave Point is an unsettled and crumbling facade on the Lake Michigan shoreline with underwater caves that were formed over thousands of years from the surf pounding against the limestone bluffs. Standing above one of these caves, the rumble of stone- carving waves thunders below your feet, followed by a rush of water spraying up to 20 feet above your head before splattering down onto the rocks below.
